I have 22 years of experience within catering, thirteen of which I have spent establishing my own successful, award winning, fine dining restaurant in Eccleshall, Staffordshire.
In September 2006, myself and my family relocated to the beautiful Lake District to open Bridge Street Restaurant. I work indepedantly within the kitchen at Bridge Street for many many hours, where radio is my new best friend!
At Bridge Street it is my intention to continually strive to provide creative and inspiring dishes which utilise only the freshest and finest ingredients. Wherever possible I endeavour to source my ingredients locally and for my menus to reflect the use of some of the fantastic producers of fine foods that we are lucky to have in this area.
I am passionately interested in food. The food I endeavour to provide is always fresh, tasty and home cooked. I use the finest raw ingredients and nuture them and experiment with flavours to create my own dishes that I think people will appreciate. Homemade stocks, pastry, bread and confectionery for example maybe time consuming, but for me are rewarding and a necessity. My menu is therefore carefully balanced so that it is achievable, interesting, varied, appealing and above all allows me to provide consistency with every dish served.
